Oberlin, Ohio- DePauw women's track and field junior
Katie Moore earned All-Conference honors after finishing first at the North Coast Athletic Conference Combined Events Championships after totaling 4,437 points in the heptathlon. Joining Moore in Oberlin was sophomore teammate
Allison Koehler, who finished in seventh place with 3,201 points. Together, the two secured 12 points for the Tigers heading into next week's NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
After finishing in third with 2,612 points after day one, Moore managed to pull away in day two after finishing first in long jump, third in javelin, and second in the 800m run, just ahead of Koehler, who took third. Her strong performance on day two would give her a 23-point edge over Oberlin's Hayden Hill and a 304-point edge over Woosters' Daysia Hargrave.
In Koehler's first heptathlon appearance, she tallied two top-four finishes, keeping her in contention for earning points towards next weekend's point total.
