Granville, Ohio-  The DePauw men's tennis team fell to six-seeded Oberlin College 5-3 in the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament Quarterfinals. The Tigers wrapped its season with an overall record of 12-9, while the Yeomen improved to 8-11.
Hudson Mosher and Chase Hutchinson put DePauw on the board first after the duo beat James Foster and Ben Tichauer 8-4 on court three. Oberlin's Shawn Lisann and Sebastien Naginski knotted the match up at one apiece after defeating Finley Buelte and Teagen Crow 8-3 on court one. The Yeomen would take a 2-1 lead following doubles play after Rohan Gold and Zain Makada defeated the Tigers' Ryan McCook and Wils Warren 8-6 on court two.
In singles play, Oberlin tacked on another win, following Zain Makada's 6-1, 6-2 victory over Jake Louiselle on court four. Down 3-1, DePauw clawed its way back from behind to tie the match up 3-3. On court five, Scott Anderson defeated Ben Tichauer 6-3, 6-2; on court six, Grayson Zylstra beat James Foster 6-4, 6-4 on court six. The Yeomen would regain its lead when Rohan Gold defeated Finley Buelte 6-1, 2-6, 6-1 on court one. The final two matches lasted over four hours and were determined by tiebreakers. Ultimately Oberlin came out on top on court three after Sebastien Naginski defeated Ryan McCook 7-5, 6-4, 5-1, to clinch the victory for the Yeomen.
