Decatur, Ill. - DePauw shot a two-round 631 (318-313) and finished second among eight teams at Millikin's Take Back the Night Challenge. WashU won with a 602 (301-301).
Becky Willilams was the tournament's medalist with 143 (74-69), while
Arika Wickramasinha tied for 10th with a 161 (82-71) and
Ashley Long tied for 12th at 162 (81-81). Rounding out the Tigers' lineup were
Sydney Weiner in 18th with a 165 (81-84) and
Nina Shaffer in a tie for 27th at 172 (88-84).
Playing as individuals,
Kathleen Ameis tied for 15th with a 163 (80-83) and
Cassie To tied for 19th at 167 (81-86).
Long and Williams each had one of the three eagles in the tournament, while Williams led the way with 25 pars and shared the lead with five birdies.
DePauw returns to action at the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship, May 3-5.
