Tigers Finish Second at DePauw Spring Clash

Noblesville, Ind. - DePauw's "A" team shot a 570 (285-285) and finished four strokes behind Wittenberg's 566 (286-280) at the one-day DePauw Spring Clash. 

Cooper Benedict paced the Tigers with a two-over 142 (72-70) to finish tied for third, while Nolan Hall tied for fifth at 143 (71-72). Willey Davis (73-71) and Joe Murdock (72-72) each tied for 13th with a 144, while Max Brown rounded out the lineup with a 147 (70-77). 

The Tigers' "B" team placed seventh with a 597 (304-293) and were led by Karl Gilmore who shot a 145 (72-73) and Connor Polomsky who finished with a 149 (76-73). Brooks Coats followed with a 151 (77-74) with Manuel Loring shooting a 154 (81-73) and Eli Anderson finishing with a 155 (79-76).

Ethan Webster competed as an individual and shot 161 (81-80).

Wittenberg's Austin Georger was the individual winner with a 139 (69-70).

DePauw returns to action May 3-5 at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at the Wesfield Country Club in Westfield Center, Ohio. Tournament Site
