Terre Haute, Ind.- For the second weekend in a row, the DePauw women's track and field team finished in first place after recording 212.5 points at the Rose-Hulman Twilight Invitational.
The Tigers completed the Friday meet with 45 top-ten finishes,18 of which were top-three finishes, and two events had the top spots swept. Five individuals and one relay earned six of the Tigers' 18 top–three finishes.
Sophie Porter broke her second program record of the outdoor season and a facility record after running the 3000m run in 9:51.99. Her time broke Cladia Monnet's previous time of 10:12.17, set in 2016. With Porter leading the charge in the 3000m run, DePauw ultimately dominated the event, sweeping the top six spots.
Emma Jacobs joined Porter as a first-place finisher, taking first place in the 1500m run with a time of 4:49.74. Jacobs,
Morgan Tharp,
Ava Knight, and
Chloe Krueger swept the top four spots in that event.
DePauw continued to find success in its distance events, with
Amzie Maienbrook finishing in first place in the 5000m run with a time of 18:18.27, while
Kendall Mann beat her competition by two minutes to win the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:36.78.
Katie Moore and
Shelby Stall were the final two individuals to take home first place. Moore ran the 400m hurdles in 1:03.03 for first, and in the 400m dash, Stall finished first with a time of 58.83. Rounding out the first-place finishes for DePauw was the 4x400 relay team made up of
Emily Loera,
Liberty Scott,
Annalise Grammel, and Stall, who ran their event in 4:09.20.

The Tigers next meet is Saturday, April 27. In Granville, Ohio, the NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Combined Events Championships will take place, while at 11 a.m. in Terre Haute, Ind., DePauw track and field team members will also compete in the Sycamore Open.
