Box Score 2 Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw totaled just eight hits in its North Coast Athletic Conference doubleheader against Oberlin, but the Tigers swept the Yeowomen by scores of 3-1 and 9-1. The Tigers moved to 18-11-1 overall and 6-0 in NCAC play, while Oberlin dropped to 3-19 overall and 0-6 in conference play.
Oberlin took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning of game one as Samantha Pinedo singled scoring Gina Lombard. DePauw responded with three in the bottom half of the frame as
Katie Mathies drove in
Ella Ohrvall with a triple to right.
Hanna Coffel ran for Mathies before
Kelsey Bernhard walked and stole second.
Macey Cox drove in Coffel when she reached on a fielder's choice. After Cox stole second,
Alyssa Anderson brought home Bernhard with a grounder.
 Four diferent Tigers collected one hit each as did six Yeowomen.
Riley Depa improved to 5-4 and
Alex Romero-Salas collected her first save. Hailey Alspach dropped to 2-11.
In the nightcap,
Emily Timberman gave DePauw a 1-0 lead in the first with a sacrifice fly The Tigers added seven more in the second. Each team scored once in the third and the game ended in five innings due to the run rule.
Libby Minobe had two of DePauw's four hosts with
Ella Kuenster driving in a pair.Â
Six different Yeowomen had one hit apiece.
Romero-Salas improved to 9-4, while Katie Austin dropped to 1-7.
DePauw hosts Wooster tomorrow in a 1 p.m. NCAC doubleheader.  Â
