Carmel, Ind. - DePauw was one of just two non-Division I schools competing at IUPUI's Lady Jaguar Invitational and the Tigers finished 11th with a two-round 652 (326-326) at Plum Creek Golf Club. Ball State won with a 606 (296-310).
Becky Williams tied for 15th in the 77-player field with a 153 (78-75), while Arinka Wickramasinha tied for 43rd at 161 (78-83). Williams tied for second among the field with 25 pars.
Nina Shaffer (85-84) and
Sydney Weiner (85-84) each tied for 68th at 169 and
Ashley Long finished with a 174 (90-84). Playing as an individual,
Kathleen Ameis shot a 173 (84-89). Shaffer was one of four individuals in the tournament with an eagle.
IUPUI's Annaliese Fox was the medalist with a 146 (72-74).
The Tigers compete in Millikin's Take Back the Night Challenge, April 19-20, in Decatur, Ill.
