Delaware, Ohio- The DePauw women's tennis team remains undefeated in North Coast Athletic Conference play after defeating Ohio Wesleyan University 7-2 on the road. The Tigers improve to 11-5 for the season and 3-0 in NCAC play, while the Battling Bishops drop to 6-6 overall and 0-3 in conference play.
 
DePauw quickly took control of the match after sweeping doubles play. On court two, Katie King and Alex Preston beat Ohio Wesleyan's Lily Hershy and Frankie Nuss 8-1. Bella DeNardo and Ayden Zinkovich defeated Riley Brokaw and Evaleigh Garnett 8-6 on court three. The final doubles win of the afternoon came on court one, where Valerie Doherty and Kassie Green beat Shanzay Ali and Kaitlyn Quinn 8-6.
 
The Tigers continued to find success in singles play. Valerie Doherty earned DePauw's fourth win on court two after she beat Ohio Wesleyan's Kaitlyn Quinn 6-0, 6-0. Securing the win for the Tigers was Kassie Green, who defeated Shanzay Ali 6-3, 6-0 on court one. The Battling Bishops earned its first win of the afternoon after Ohio Wesleyan's Frankie Nuss defeated Katie King 6-2, 2-6, 6-3. Bella DeNardo would extend DePauw's lead to six after beating Lily Hershey 7-5, 6-1 on court four, while Alex Preston earned the Tigers' final win after beating Riley Brokaw 6-2, 6-1. On court five, the Battling Bishops' Emma Pzedpelski beat Ellie Bruce 6-4, 7-5.
 
The Tigers return to Greencastle, Ind., on Sunday, April 14, for Senior Day against Wittenberg University. The two teams take to the courts around 12 p.m.
