Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw third baseman Emily Timberman (Sr., Fishers, Ind./Cathedral) has been selected the Division III Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Player of the Week after leading the Tigers to a split at then 23rd-ranked Lynchburg on Sunday.

In Sunday's first game, a 9-7 victory over the Hornets, Timberman was 4-for-4 at the plate with two homers, two runs scored and four runs batted in. In the second game, a 3-0 defeat, she was walked intentionally twice.

For the season, Timberman is batting .486 with a career-best six homers and 15 RBI and is slugging 1.054. Timberman was a member of the NFCA Division III Leadoff Classic All-Tournament team earlier this season and also this week's North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Athlete of the Week.

The 7-8 Tigers are back in action today with a 3 p.m. doubleheader at ninth-ranked Randolph-Macon.
