Jekyll Island, Ga. - DePauw shot a three-round 961 (319-317-325) and finished sixth among 18 schools at the Jekyll Island Collegiate. Wellesley won with a 922 (311-299-312).
Becky Williams paced the Tigers with a 227 (74-75-78) to finish in a tie for second, four strokes behind Williams' Emma Abramson who shot a 223 (79-72-72). Williams was second among the field with 37 pars.
Ashley Long finished 11th with a 232 (79-79-74) and was second in the tournament with nine birdies. Her 74 today was a career-low round.
Arika Wickramashinha tied for 55th with a 249 (83-80-86) followed by
Nina Shaffer in 63rd with a 253 (83-83-87) and
Sydney Weiner with a 276 (93-92-91) to finish in a tie for 93rd. Playing as an individual,
Kathleen Ameis tied for 60th with a 252 (84-82-86).
DePauw returns to action on April 6-7 at the WashU Spring Invitational in Crescent, Mo.
