Box Score Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw women's tennis team found its footing early in its 9-0 home victory over the Hanover College Panthers. The Tigers improve to 2-4 for the season, while the Panthers drop to 2-2.
 
In doubles play, Ellen Gardner and Kat Wilder defeated the Panthers' Rachel Pinnick and Isabelle Roberts 8-0 on court one to give the Tigers an early lead. On court two, Kassie Green and Valerie Doherty notched DePauw's second win after defeating Hailey Vandeventer and Melaina Tippery 8-0. Katie King and Alex Preston completed the doubles sweep after beating Hanover's Lauren Hale and Alyssa Moore 8-2 on court three. 
 
DePauw continued its momentum into its singles play matches, with Gardner defeating Melaina Tippery 6-2, 6-0 on court one. Up 4-0, Doherty solidified the Tigers' victory after beating Rachel Pinnick 6-1, 6-1 on court two. On court three, King beat Isabelle Roberts 6-4, 6-1, and Wilder beat Hailey Vandeveter 6-1, 6-1 on court four. Bella DeNardo tacked on another DePauw win after defeating Lauren Hale 6-2, 6-4 on court five, and Ellie Bruce beat Alyssa Moore 6-0, 6-1 on court six.
