Greencastle, Ind.- DePauw softball pitcher
Alex Romero-Salas (So., Paranaque City, National Capital Region (NCR)/Calvert Academy) has been selected the North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the first time in her career. She led the Tigers to two of its three wins this weekend at the 2024 Millikin Softball Tournament.

In Saturday's matchup, Romero-Salas pitched a complete game and recorded seven strikeouts, allowing just three hits. She would step into the circle again on Sunday when the Tigers took on host Millikin. Romero-Salas pitched a complete game again and struck out four in DePauw's 5-4 victory over the Big Blue.

With last week's three wins, DePauw improved to 4-5 overall and travel to Elizabethtown, Ky., on Saturday, March 16, to compete in the 2024 Pioneer Classic.
