Terre Haute, Ind.- Taking home eight top-three finishes and recording 78.5 points, the DePauw women's track and field team finished third at the Blue-White Classic hosted by Indiana State. The Sycamores came out on top with 179.5 points, followed by Greenville with 85.
Three Tigers finished the afternoon earning double digits for DePauw.
Annalise Grammel and
Lily Monnett each took home first-place finishes, totaling 20 points. Grammel secured the top spot in the 800m run, finishing in 2:25.08, and Monnett finished the 3000m run in 10:15.27, notching a new school record. First-year
Anna Lervick earned 13 more points for the Tigers after finishing second in triple jump and tied for fourth in high jump.
The Tigers' next meet is back here in Greencastle. DePauw will host the DePauw Indoor Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m. in the Indoor Tennis and Track Center.
