Gambier, Ohio- DePauw men's track and field junior
Daniel Jansen finished in second in the heptathlon at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships after totaling 4,521 points. Jansen's point total earned him an all-conference finish and broke DePauw's heptathlon record of 4,454, previously set by Jack Lebovitz in 2012.

In his route to second place, Jansen improved his marks in five of the seven events from last year. The remainder of the NCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held Feb. 23-24 at Kenyon College.
