DePauw Finishes in Sixth at the Wittenberg Invitational

Springfield, Ohio- The DePauw men's track and field team finished in sixth place with 21.5 points at the Wittenberg Invitational. Cedarville finished in first with 73 points, followed by Ohio Northern with 64.5 and Ohio Dominican with 36.
 
Junior Matt Rowley paced the Tigers in Springfield, who earned DePauw's lone first-place finish, winning the 800m run with a time of 1:53.85. Rowley would later run in the 4x400 relay along with Trevor Wallar, Connor Gaesser, and Colin O'Malley in 3:21.36 for second place. DePauw tallied ten individual top-ten finishers in this cross-divisional invitational.

The Tigers travel to Kenyon College on Friday, Feb. 23, to compete in the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships. This weekend, the Owls are hosting the NCAC's Combined Events, where Daniel Jansen sits in second place after day one with 2,467 points.
