Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw turned a three-point lead into 29 with a 26-0 run that bridged the third and fourth periods and captured the Amy Hasbrook Memorial Tournament title with a 69-47 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Tigers improved to 7-4, while the Raiders dropped to 5-6.
The Raiders took a 19-14 lead into the second period and stretched the margin to as many as six points before the Tigers rattled off 12 straight to take a 32-26 lead on the way to a 32-30 halftime advantage.
After DePauw pushed the lead to as many as seven, MSOE closed to within three at 40-37 with 3:48 left in the third.
The Tigers finished the third with 12 straight points to take a 52-37 lead into the final period before scoring the first 14 of the fourth. During the run, the Tigers hit 10-of-12 from the field including 3-of-4 from 3-point range with no turnovers. DePauw's defense contributed to eight MSOE turnovers during the 7;42 stretch in addition to 0-of-6 shooting from the field.

Ava Hassel led all scorers with 19 points along with six assists and five steals, while
Moira McGinley followed with 18. All-tourney selection
Olivia Hart followed with a career-high 16 and a team-high nine rebounds with
Riley Mont adding 10 points.
Aleah Butterbrodt and Lana Kerley each scored 11 for the Raiders with Shelby Glodowski grabbing eight boards. Mahima Chokshi, who scored 26 in yesterday's win over Capital, earned a spot on the all-tournament team after dishing out five assists and recording two steals today.
DePauw shot 41.1 percent from the field to MSOE's 34.8 percent and the Tigers held a 34-30 rebounding edge. The Tigers committed just nine turnovers to the Raiders' 21 and held a 30-8 edge in points off of turnovers.
In the third-place game, Capital (9-1) came away with a 73-61 win over Adrian (3-9). All-tourney choice Laney Murphy paced the Comets with 22 points with Samaree Perkins grabbing eight rebounds. Aubrie Ickes led Adrian with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Hannah Lisch earned a spot on the all-tournament team after scoring seven and hauling down five rebounds today following a 19-point effort in Sunday's opening game.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 4, with a 1 p.m. North Coast Athletic Conference game at Hiram.
