St. Louis, Mo. - DePauw evened its record at 3-3 after defeating Rose-Hulman, 90-37, to finish third at the Midwest Challenge. The Fightin' Engineers dropped to 1-4.
The Tigers held a 22-9 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 51-19 at halftime after scoring 29 in the second quarter with 12-of-17 shooting from the field.
Four Tigers scored in double figures led by 11 each from
Ainsley Boras and
Olivia Hart.
Ava Hassell and
Riley Mont scored 10 apiece as 13 players scored in the win. Boras added 10 rebounds for a double-double while
Lily Huntzinger led with three assists.
Jamie Baum paced Rose-Hulman with 13 points, four rebounds and four assists.
DePauw shot 57.1 percent from the field to Rose-Hulman's 23.1 percent and the Tigers held a 51-26 rebounding edge.Â
The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 4, with a 5:30 p.m. North Coast Athletic Conference game at Denison.
