Four Tigers Named to the 2024 All-NCAC Field Hockey Team

Greencastle, Ind. - Four DePauw field hockey players were named to the 2024 All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) field hockey squad for their impact on the field this past season.

Two Tigers earned first-team all-NCAC honors for the 2024 season. Earning her first career all-conference accolade was senior Alexandra May, who earned first-team All-NCAC honors after finishing second on the team in goals (10) and points (21) while tallying one assist. Of the ten goals scored this season, May recorded two game-winning goals. Earning her third first-team All-NCAC honor is junior Hailey Nowak, who led the Tigers in goals (11), assists (8), and points (30). Five of her 11 goals were game-winners, and she finished the season tied for fourth in goals scored in the NCAC.

Maggie Volpe earned second-team All-NCAC honors for the second consecutive year after finishing the season with the third most goals scored (5) and was tied for second in assists with five. Volpe also recorded the third most points on the team with 15.

The fourth and final Tiger earning NCAC accolades was junior defender Ella Morris, who earned third-team All-NCAC honors. Morris scored three goals, two game-winning goals, and tallied two assists as a defender. On the defensive end, she earned two defensive saves this season.

The Tigers finished the season with an overall record of 11-7 and an NCAC record of 8-2, earning the 4th seed in the NCAC field hockey tournament. Senior Lilly Harris and junior Charlotte Hood were also named to the NCAC all-tournament team following their 4-0 loss to Ohio Wesleyan in the NCAC semifinals.
