Delaware, Ohio- The DePauw women's track and field team finished in fourth place after totaling 90 points across the two-day North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Wittenberg won with 216 points, followed by Ohio Wesleyan with 149.5.
DePauw recorded two individual All-NCAC performances on day two of the conference championships. Junior
Annalise Grammel finished third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.89, while senior
Jaida Smith earned third in triple jump after jumping a distance of 10.96m.
The Tigers tacked on three more top-five finishes throughout the day, with
Tessa Kochert taking fourth in triple jump with a distance of 10.69m and two top-five finishes in the relays. DePauw's Smith,
Lily Boston,
Alexis Cagan, and
Emily Loera finished fourth in the 4x100 with a time of 49.69, and in the 4x400, Loera,
Ava Knight, Cagan, and Grammel finished fifth with a time of 4:08.40.
DePauw completed the NCAC Championships with seven All-NCAC performances and will travel to the University of St. Francis (Ill.) next Friday and Saturday, May 12-13, to compete in the Last Chance Meet.
