Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw extended its win streak to five after sweeping a doubleheader from Illinois College by scores of 11-3 and 9-5. The Tigers improved to 20-19 overall, while the Lady Blues dropped to 23-14-1.
In the opener, Cheyenne Anderson's solo homer in the top of the first gave the guests a 1-0 lead, but DePauw's
Drew Bratcher singled home

Abby Pyburn also coming home after an error on the play.
Illinois College's Lizzie Snow scored on a wild pitch in the top of the second to knot the score at 2-2 and it stayed that way until the bottom of the third when
Katie Mathies doubled home Pyburn and
Yasmin McClellan scored when
Riley Heim hit into a double play after interference was called at second base.
Ashtyn Barnett's leadoff homer in the bottom of the fourth pushed the DePauw lead to 5-2 before Pyburn singled home
Macey Cox and Mathies plated two with a double. Heim's single scored
Ella Ohrvall before
Madi Lockridge came home after a failed pickoff attempt at third.
Emily DuMais' single brought home Heim to make it 11-2.
The Lady Blues added a single run in the fifth as Anderson's single scored Kiya Hagene.
Pyburn had three of DePauw's 13 hits, while Mathies had two. Anderson had two of the Lady Blues' five hits.
Alex Romero-Salas improved to 1-2, while
Kandra Butcher recorded her first save. Terin Teter dropped to 5-2.
In the nightcap,
Lily Jennings scored from third in the second after
Drew Bratcher was caught in a rundown between first and second. McClellan later stole home to make it 2-0.
Hagene scored from third when the Tigers tried to make a play on the runner at second in the top of the third. The Lady Blues evened the score in the top of the third on Chaddam Crosier's solo homer.
DePauw regained the lead in the fifth as
Kelsey Bernhard singled home Ohrvall before Bratcher doubled, scoring Bernhard.
Emily Minett's single scored
Chelsea Campagna and Pyburn's base hit brought home Minett. Heim made it 9-2 with a three-run double.
Illinois College scored three in the seventh as Anderson singled home Kayla Serpa and Calynn Gicante drove in a pair with a base hit.
Alyssa Anderson, Bernhard, Pyburn and Minett each had two of DePauw's 13 hits, while Anderson had two of Illinois College's six hits.
Megan Asher improved to 11-9, while Calynn Gicante dropped to 0-4.
DePauw hosts the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament and faces Hiram at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12.
