Decatur, Ill. - DePauw shot a two-round 597 (299-298) and finished eighth among 18 teams at Millikin University's Take Back the Night Challenge. Parkland College won the team title with a 576 (288-288).
James Gilmore paced DePauw with a 145 (76-69) to tie for eighth. His 69 in the second round matched the best of the tournament and was the only sub-70 round on Saturday.
Manuel Loring followed with a 149 (73-76) to tie for 25th. Loring shared the tournament lead with 26 pars.
Connor Polomsky tited for 38th with a 152 (76-76), while
Cooper Benedict followed with a 156 (74-82) and
Joe Murdock rounded out the Tigers' lineup with a 159 (82-77). Playing as individuals,
Nolan Hall tied for 48th at 155 (80-75) and
Karl Gilmore finished with a 164 (78-86).
Rose-Hulman's Luke Poole was the medalist with a 139 (69-70).
DePauw returns to the course, April 28-30, at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Westfield Country Club in Westfield Center, Ohio.
