Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's tennis team fell to No. 14-ranked Denison University 8-1 on its senior day, closing its weekend at home. The Tigers move to 8-7 overall and 4-2 in NCAC play, while the Big Red improve to 22-3 for the season and 7-0 in conference play.

The Tigers and Big Red traded points in doubles, battling throughout the match for a substantial lead. Despite dropping two doubles matches, DePauw pressured Denison to string points together. The Big Red's Andy Mackler and ZachPortnoy beat
Cole Metzger and
Hudson Mosher 8-6 on court two, and on court one,
Thomas Partridge and
Ryan McCook fell to Denison's Ethan Green and Camden French 8-5. Down 2-0, on court three,
Finley Buelte and
Jake Watson got the edge over Big Red's Andreas Chapides and Kael Shah with an 8-6 victory.

Dension dominated in singles play, sweeping the Tigers to win 8-1. Ethan Green earned Big Red's first singles victory after he beat DePauw's
Grayson Zylstra 6-3, 6-1, and on court three, Mackler beat McCook 6-1, 6-1. Up 4-1, Denison clinched the match victory on court five after Chapides defeated Metzger 6-1, 6-4. Jake Bulger beat Partridge 6-3, 6-1 on court one, and on court four,
Jake Louiselle fell to Anthony Payiavlas 6-4, 6-1. In the afternoon's final match, Jacob Patterson of the Big Red defeated Buelte 6-3, 6-1 on court two.
