Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw men's track and field team finished fourth at the 2023 Indiana DIII Championships after totaling 116.33 points. Wabash finished first with 163.66 points, followed by Rose-Hulman with 143 and Trine with 130.5.

The Tigers finished the afternoon with a total of 11 top-three finishes;
Grant Hunt led the charge for the Tigers, who ran the 100-meter dash in 10.95 for third place, then took second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.11 which broke the previous meet record of 22.13. Teammate
Colin O'Malley would finish the 200-meter dash just behind Hunt with a time of 22.27.

Matt Rowley finished second in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:01.60, and in the 10,000-meter run,
Ford Baker took first with a time of 31:59.58, breaking another meet record for the Tigers by almost 20 seconds. The Tigers continued to dominate in distance events, with
Bailey Scott finishing first in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:51.63.

In the 4x100 meter relay
Rickey Alsum, Hunt, O'Malley, and
Ayo Laleye finished second with a time of 42.40.
Daniel Jansen and
Garrett Elkins would tie for second in high jump with a height of 1.89m, while
Dylan Copeland finished second in pole vault with a height of 3.80m. The Tigers' final top three finisher was
Bennett DeCoursey, who took second in discus throw, with a distance of 46.73m.

The Tigers' next meet is Friday, April 21, in Terre Haute, Ind., where they will compete in the Rose-Hulman Twilight Meet. The meet is set to start at 5 p.m.
