Asher Selected NCAC Pitcher of the Week

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's Megan Asher (Fr., West Lafayette, Ind./Benton Central) has been selected North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performance in one of DePauw's wins over Kenyon.

Asher pitched five innings in DePauw's 10-2 win in Saturday's second game and allowed just one hit with six strikeouts and only one walk. With the win, Asher improved to 4-7 on the season as the Tigers opened NCAC play with a doubleheader sweep.

DePauw travels to Oberlin on Saturday, April 15, for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
