Seguin, Texas - Host Texas Lutheran swept a doubleheader from DePauw, winning 9-0 and 21-11 in seven innings. The Tigers dropped to 5-11, while the Bulldogs improved to 12-12.
In the opener, Texas Lutheran jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first and then added one in the fourth, three in the fifth and one more in the sixth.
Aidan Howard and
Eli Bell had DePauw's only hits, while Kyle Gates, Carson Draehn and Tyler Post each had two of the Bulldogs' 10.Â
Pearse Riendeau dropped to 0-1, while Adam Peavy improved to 1-0.
In the nightcap, DePauw took an early 2-0 lead on
Danny Glimco's two-run double in the first, but the Bulldogs scored seven in the first and two in the second for a 9-1 lead.

Carter Knoll before Texas Lutheran scored four in the bottom of the fourth for a 13-3 advantage.Â

Cameron Macon, but the Bulldogs added three in the sixth for a 16-4 lead.
DePauw closed the gap to 16-11 with a seven-run seventh which included Macon's RBI double, three bases loaded walks and an RBI ground out by
Ben Greiner. A wild pitch allowed
Joey Webster to score and a failed pickoff throw brought home Sheehan.
The Bulldogs took advantage of two DePauw errors in the bottom of the seventh and scored five times to end the contest due to the run-rule.
Macon had four of DePauw's 10 hits, while Knoll and Glimco each had two. Asher Bonnell and Niko Garcia each had three of the Bulldogs' 16 hits.
Cameron Hawk took the loss on the mound with Johnny Garza Jr., collecting the win.
DePauw opens North Coast Athletic Conference play on Tuesday, April 4, with a Noon doubleheader at Wabash.
