Greencastle, Ind.- The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) recently announced the 2022 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, and DePauw Field Hockey had nine named to this year's list. Over 1,700 student-athletes from 157 Division III institutions were recognized this year.

This accolade honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

Of the 157 institutions, John Hopkins University and Middlebury College had the most named to the National Academic Squad with 24 student-athletes apiece. Washington and Lee University had the second-most National Academic Squad selections this year with 23, followed by Smith College with 22 student-athletes.
