Greencastle, Ind.- Â The DePauw women's soccer team had four members selected for the 2023 All-North Coast Athletic Conference selections, with first-year
Eva Lynch taking home the Newcomer of the Year award.
Â
In her rookie season, first-year defender
Eva Lynch earned an All-NCAC first-team selection and Newcomer of the Year recognition. Lynch started and played in all 20 of the Tigers matches, playing a crucial part in DePauw's backline. With her help, the Tigers completed the season with a conference-high three shutouts and recorded an NCAC-low 0.86 goals-against average. Across its 20 games, DePauw allowed 18 goals (0.90 GAA) and led the conference with 11 shutouts.
Â
Senior midfielder
Annalise Grammel earned an All-NCAC first-team selection for the second consecutive year. Grammel led DePauw in goals (7), assists (6), and total points (20), while recording four game-winners for the Tigers. Her efforts this season put her tied for first in game-winning goals in the NCAC and tied for second in assists. Grammel also made her presence known on the defensive end for the Tigers, providing pressure throughout the midfield and stifling opponents on the attack.Â

Fellow senior
Leine Dawson was named to the All-NCAC second team for her efforts in the midfield. Dawson joined Lynch in the Tigers dominant backline and allowed just six goals in seven conference matchups. Her physicality in the midfield stopped attacking offenses in their tracks and helped her win 50-50 balls to help keep momentum in favor of DePauw throughout the season.

Rounding out the Tigers' All-NCAC selections is junior midfielder
Sydney Calisto. Calisto was named to the All-NCAC third team after finishing the 2023 season second on the team in goals (5), assists (2) and points (12). Calisto recorded a .722 shots-on-goal percentage and was tied for fifth in goals in the NCAC. Â
