Three DePauw Players Named to the 2023 All-NCAC Field Hockey Squad

Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw field hockey team had three members named to the 2023 All-North Coast Athletic Conference field hockey selections.
 
Two Tigers earned first-team All-NCAC honors for their 2023 season. For the first time in her career, junior Amy Apfelbaum earned first-team All-NCAC honors after leading DePauw in game-winning goals with four, was second on the team in total goals (9), and third in assists with three. Apfelbaum's four game-winning goals tied her for second most in the NCAC.
 
For a second consecutive season, Hailey Nowak earned first-team All-NCAC honors. Nowak led the Tigers in goals (10) and points (24) and was second on the team in assists with 4. Her ten goals this season placed Nowak third in the conference, and she finished fourth in total points.
 
Rounding out the Tigers' All-NCAC selections is Maggie Volpe, who earned second-team All-NCAC selections for the second time in her career. Volpe finished the season with four goals and was tied for third on the team in assists(3) and points (11). She was tied for fourth in the conference for game-winning goals with two. 
 
The Tigers wrapped up its season with an 11-7 record, going 8-2 in regular season conference play, securing the third seed in the NCAC field hockey tournament.
