Terre Haute, Ind.- The DePauw men's swim team opens the 2023-24 season with a 172-97 dual loss to Rose-Hulman.
DePauw finished the evening with 13 top-three individual finishes and two top-three finishes in relays. Newcomer
Jeremy Stutzman led the Tigers with 18 individual points off of two first-place finishes in the 50-yard backstroke (26.23) and the 100-yard Backstroke (56.12).
Brock Kinnamon would round out DePauw's first-place individual finishes with the top time in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.36.
Earning the Tigers' lone relay top finish were
James Shorney,
David Daniels,
Ethan Williams Fonner, and Kinnamon, who swam the 200-yard free relay in 1:29.93.
DePauw's next meet is Saturday, October 14, in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The Tigers will be competing in the Indiana DIII Meet, with a start time of 1 p.m.
