Crawfordsville, Ind. - Led by five top-three finishes, DePauw totaled 637 points and finished third at the Indiana DIII Invitational. Rose-Hulman won with 760.5 points and Wabash was second with 649.5.
The Tigers' lone championship of the meet came from the 400-yard freestyle relay of
Robbie Sheffield,
Brock Kinnamon,
Ethan Williams Fonner and
James Shorney which won in 3:17.00.
Shorney was second in the 50 free in 22.65 seconds, while Sheffield was third in 22.69. Sheffield also placed third in the 100 butterfly in 55.37.
The Tigers' 200 medley relay of
Jeremy Stutzman, Sheffield, Shorney and Williams Fonner was third in 1:40.10.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 28, when it travels to Bethel (Ind.) where it will also compete against Aquinas and Lindsey Wilson.
