Terre Haute, Ind.- The DePauw men's indoor track and field team completed Rose-Hulman's 2023 Friday Night Spikes meet in third after recording 98.50 points. The Tigers tallied 12 top-five finishes, three of which were first-place finishes.

Daniel Jansen led the Tigers with 16.50 points, finishing the evening with third-place finishes in long jump (6.20 meters) and high jump (1.83 meters). He also completed the 60-meter hurdles in 8.91 seconds for fourth.

In the 200-meter dash,
Grant Hunt ran a 23.56 for third place, while teammate
Colin O'Malley finished fifth with a time of 23.60. In the distance events,
Ford Baker finished first in the mile run with a time of 4:27.31, and in the 800-meter run,
Jack Rutstein came in fourth with a time of 2:03.23.

The Tigers recorded seven of its 12 top-five finishes in field events.
Carson Watson finished first in long jump with a distance of 6.65 meters, followed by Jansen's third-place finish, and
Ayo Laleye finished in fifth with a distance of 6.12 meters. In high jump,
Garrett Elkins earned second after jumping 1.88 meters, while
Joshua Kaluwasha earned second in triple jump after recording a distance of 12.10 meters. Rounding out DePauw's top-three finishers was
Bennett DeCoursey who took first in shot put after throwing a distance of 15.83 meters.

DePauw will host the Tim Hreha Memorial Indoor Invitational on Feb. 3, with a meet start time of 5 p.m. EST.
