Franklin, Ind.-Â The DePauw men's swimming team fell to Franklin College 165-129 in its dual against the Grizzlies. The Tigers finished with three individual first-place finishes and tallied two first-place relay finishes to bookend the meet.

Tigers jumped to an early lead after
Nathan Turner,
Patrick Unterreiner,
Ben Hilfinger, and
James Shorney finished first with a time of 1:38.07 in the 200 medley relay. Hilfinger would go on to pace DePauw with two individual first-place finishes. He swam 21.17 in the 50 free and earned first in the 100Â butterfly after swimming it in 50.37. Unterreiner earned a first-place finish in the 200breast with a time of 2:18.38.

DePauw completed the afternoon by winning the 400 free relay with
Michael Ray,
Ethan Williams Fonner,
Braden Mallery, and Hilfinger, finishing in 3:13.23 for first. The Tigers tallied 18 top-three finishes, including a sweep in the 50 free, with Shorney and Ray coming in second (22.00) and third (22.12), respectively.
