Franklin, Ind.- Recording its second win of the season, the DePauw women's soccer team beat the Franklin Grizzlies 1-0 on the road.
The Tigers took just 15 minutes to get on the board, going up 1-0 following
Zoie Obst's deflection off a corner by
Grace Truax.
DePauw held Franklin to one shot on goal and two corners in the first half and finished the night outshooting the Grizzlies 21-3 and recorded 11 corners to Franklin's two.
The Grizzlies Makenna Mundy finished the evening with six saves, while
Emma St. John tallied one save.
DePauw moves to 2-0-1 and returns to Reavis Stadium on Sunday, September 11, for a noon game against St. Mary's (Ind.)
