Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw women's soccer team recorded its third tie of the season after finishing in a 1-1 draw against the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at home.

The Tigers and the Fightin' Engineers played most of the first half in the midfield vying for position and dominance over the pave of the game.

In the 33rd minute,
Annalise Grammel scored her third goal of the season following a scramble in front of the net after a corner attempt, giving the Tigers a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

Down by one at the half, the Fightin' Engineers opened the second half with heavy pressure on the Tigers' backline, ultimately changing the game's pace in its favor. In the 63rd minute of play, Rose-Hulman tied the game at one after Kiley McKee sent a ball up the middle to Kyra Hicks, who chipped the ball past
Emma St. John to even the score at one.

Despite finishing the night knotted up, the Tigers outshot the Fightin' Engineers 11 to 7, recorded six corners for the night, and had a late attempt in the 74th minute following a Rose-Hulman red card and ejection for Megan Foder.Â

The Tigers move to 3-1-3 for the season and travel to Ohio Northern University on Saturday, September 24, to play the Polar Bears at 2 pm EDT.
