Whitewater, Wis.: The DePauw women's soccer team recorded its first loss of the season after falling 4-0 to Wisconsin-Whitewater in game one of the "W Challenge."
The Warhawks scored two early goals in the first half, putting up seven shots and six corners while holding the Tigers to no shots or corners in the half.
In the second half of play, DePauw forced three corners and recorded three shots; however, they couldn't stifle Wisconsin-Whitewaters' offense, leading to two more goals by the Warhawks in the second half of regulation.
DePauw moves to 3-1-1 for the season and takes on Rhodes College on Sunday, September 18, at noon EDT on day two of the "W Challenge."
