Box Score Hiram, Ohio -Â DePauw scored on eight of its first nine possessions including each of its first five on the way to a 44-0 North Coast Athletic Conference win at Hiram. The Tigers moved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the NCAC, while the Terriers dropped to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Wally Renie connected with
Trey Shaw for a 12-yard score just 2:01 into the contest before
Drew Moore scored on a 2-yard run a little over four minutes later.
Joseph Sullivan booted a 27-yard field goal with 14:12 left in the half before
Gus Baumgartner made it 24-0 with a 14-yard run with 11:14 remaining.
Danny Sheehan's 13-yard run with 4:22 left in the half pushed the Tigers' lead to 31-0.
Sullivan nailed a 35-yard field goal early in the third followed by Baumgartner's 1-yard run midway through the third. Sullivan knocked in a 20-yard field goal with 14:12 left in the game to wrap up the scoring.
Coupled with last week's 55-0 win at Anderson, this marks the first time since 1985 that the Tigers have posted consecutive shutouts.
