Box Score Memphis, Tenn. - DePauw and Rhodes battled through 70 minutes of scoreless play before the Lynx's Grace Utz scored just 18 seconds into the second overtime to give the hosts a 1-0 win. The Tigers dropped to 2-1, while Rhodes improved to 3-1.
Rhodes outshot DePauw, 24-3, including 10-1 in shots on goal, while the Lynx also held a 16-4 edge in corners.
Scarlett Oaks recorded nine saves in goal for the Tigers, while Riley Marzola recorded the shutout for Rhodes with Sam Ducey notching a defensive save in the win.
DePauw returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 14, with a 5 p.m. non-conference home game against Wittenberg.
