Marion, Ind. - In the season opener for both schools, DePauw's women dropped a 7-0 match at Indiana Wesleyan.

The Wildcats picked up the doubles point after winning at all three flights. In singles play, Ellen Gardner and Kiley Shaw took their Indiana Wesleyan opponents to three sets. Gardner lost at the number-two spot by a 6-1, 5-7, 1-0 (10-3) score, while Shaw fell at fourth singles to Breann Barger by a 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 1-0 (10-6) score.

DePauw's next action comes on September 17-18 when it hosts the DePauw Fall Invitational.
