Marion, Ind. - The DePauw men opened the season at Indiana Wesleyan and dropped a 4-3 contest to the Wildcats.
Marian picked up the doubles point with wins at the first and second spots, but DePauw's number-three duo of
Jake Watson and Hunter Mosher defeated Riley Fuqua and Conner Murphy by a 7-6 score.
In singles, DePauw collected a pair of wins as
Finley Buelte defeated Ethan Gray at the third flight by a 6-3, 6-2 score and Mosher on by a 6-2, 6-1 count at sixth single over Fuqua.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, September 10, when it hosts the DePauw Fall Invitational.
