Geneva, Ohio- DePauw Track and Field senior Erin Pasch sits in fifth place with 2,996 points after day one of the NCAA Heptathlon Championships.
To start the day, Pasch earned 886 points after finishing the 100-meter hurdles in 14.67 seconds and added 712 points in high jump with a height of 1.58m. She then scored 563 with a shot put of 10.51m and completed the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.57 for 835 points.
Day two of the NCAA Heptathlon Championships starts at 11 am on Friday, May 27. The remaining events are long jump, javelin throw, and the 800-meter run.
