Six Tigers Earn All-NCAC Honors; Henry is Pitcher of the Year for a Record Third Time

Greencastle, Ind. - Following a third-consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference championship this season, DePauw is represented by six players on the all-conference team as selected by the league's coaches.

Cami Henry (Sr., Camby, Ind./Mooresville) was named the Pitcher of the Year for the third time in her career. Henry posted an 11-0 record in conference games and saved two while posting a league-best 0.98 earned run average. In 64 conference innings, Henry struck out 77 and walked 16 and ranked second with 8.42 strikeouts per seven innings. She holds NCAC career records with 71 wins, 710 strikeouts and 9.27 strikeouts/7 inn. and finished with a 25-0 record in NCAC games.

Also earning spots on the first team were third baseman Drew Bratcher (Jr., Reelsville, Ind./South Putnam) and shortstop Grace Smith (Sr., Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville). Bratcher hit .436 in 16 conference games with 14 runs batted in and nine runs scored. She led the NCAC with a .923 slugging percentage. Smith batted .429 in conference games and also drove in 14 runs and scored 11 and was second to Bratcher in the conference after slugging .857. Bratcher and Smith shared the league lead with five home runs apiece. Smith was honorable mention in 2019 and first team last season.

Three Tigers were selected to the second team including outfielders Jade Mejia Wick (Sr., Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove North) and Kate Geary (Sr., Geneva, Ill./Geneva) and catcher Paige Price (Sr., Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley). Mejia Wick was a second team choice in 2019, while Price earned first team accolades last year.

In 15 conference games, Mejia Wick hit .357 with one homer and five RBI along with 13 runs and eight stolen bases which tied for third in league games. Geary hit .400 in 13 NCAC contests with six RBI and seven runs along with a conference-leading 12 stolen bases. Price played in all 16 conference games and batted .375 with two homers and 10 RBI with eight runs scored. She threw out three of 10 runners attempting to steal.
