Tigers Finish 8th at the Sycamore Open

Terre Haute, Ind. - The DePauw women's track and field team finished with 12 top ten finishes and totaled 30 points at the Sycamore Open, hosted by Indiana State.

Leading the Tigers with a fourth-place finish was Annalise Grammel, who finished the 400-meter dash in 1:02.10. Charlotte Borland would take eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:03.63. DePauw recorded three top-ten finishes in the remaining sprint and hurdle events. In the 100-meter dash, Lily Boston finished eighth with a time of 12.97. Seelye Stoffregen took seventh in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.54, and in the 4x100 meter relay, Jaida Smith, Boston, Katie McKinley, and Borland took fourth with a time of 51.00.

In the 5000-meter run, Jenny Noll finished sixth with a time of 20:08.85. In field events, Abby Hartman earned a seventh-place finish after she jumped 1.50m in high jump. In shot put, Mady Altman finished seventh with a throw of 9.15m, while Brianna Wagner (30.98m) and Reanna Stiehler (26.95m) took sixth and seventh, respectively, in discus throw. Stiehler would finish sixth in hammer throw with a distance of 36.01m and eighth in javelin throw (27.57m).

The Tigers will be in Oberlin, Ohio, from Thursday, May 5 to Friday, May 6, to compete in the North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
