Wooster would remain scoreless across three more innings and allowed one more run by DePauw in the sixth inning following a double by Drew Bratcher to drive in Goose Moore.

In the nightcap, DePauw was once again scoreless until the third. Mejia Wick led off with a single up the middle and proceeded to third base after stealing second and taking advantage of a passed ball. With Mejia Wick at third, Geary's single to left-center drove in Mejia Wick to go up 1-0.
Alyssa Anderson led off the fifth with a single just past the Fighting Scots shortstop. Macey Cox would come in to pinch run and would advance to second after Mejia Wick singled again to the shortstop. Bernhard's sacrifice bunt to the pitcher put the two in scoring position and was punched in by Geary after she doubled down the right line, putting the Tigers up 3-0.
