Winston-Salem, N.C.- DePauw's Erin Pasch finished third in the pentathlon topping her previous best and school record with 3,640 points at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships to earn all-America honors.
Pasch started the day with 885 points after finishing the 60-meter hurdles in 9.12 seconds and then added 736 points when she matched her college best with a high jump of 1.60 (5-3). She then scored 585 with a shot put of 10.84 meters, followed by another 645 points with a long jump of 5.31m. In the final event of the Heptathlon, Pasch finished first in the 800-meter run and picked up 789 points after finishing in 2:22.56, improving her time by about two seconds since the NCAC Championships.
Pasch and the DePauw Track and Field team travels to Rose-Hulman for the Early Bird Invitational on Saturday, March 19.
