Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw women's indoor track and field team notched its third first-place finish at the DePauw Indoor Invitational. The Tigers finished the invitational with 155.50 points and had 14 individual top-three finishes and a first-place finish in the 4x400 meter relay.
Grabbing the lone relay top-three finish was Annalise Grammel, Charlotte Borland, Seelye Stoffregen, and Alexis Cagan, who took first place, with a time of 4:15.60 in the 4x400 meter relay.
Grammel would collect first-place in the 400-meter dash (1:01.37) and second-place in the 200-meter dash (27.51). Relay teammates Stoffregen would finish third in the 200-meter dash (27.54), while Cagan took third in the 400-meter dash (1:04.21). Rounding out the sprints was Erin Pasch, who secured a first-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles (9.07) and finished third in the 60-meter dash (8.05).
Setting the pace for the Tigers in the mid-distance/distance runs was Emma Jacobs, who earned first in the 800-meter run (2:27.37). Jenny Noll ran the 1000-meter run in 3:25.92 to take third place, while Sophie Porter finished third in the 1 mile run with a time of 5:23.86. In the 3000-meter run, Brynn Urban (11:26.36) and Ashley Baldwin (11:31.93) took second and third place, respectively. Maddie Perry would finish in third in the 5000-meter run (20:19.19).
In field events, Pasch earned second in high jump (1.50m), and Bree Mahoney-Sutherland secured a first-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 12.45m.
Next Saturday, February 19, the Tigers travel to Ohio for NCAC Combined Events at Wooster.
