Granville, Ohio - Totaling a program-record 1,225 points, DePauw finished third at the North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. Kenyon won with 1,958 points, while Denison was second with 1,749. Wooster placed fourth with 1,092.
Megan Mackenzie finished seventh in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 18:20.81, while Mia Hagenauer topped the Tigers' performances in the 100 individual medley by finishing eighth in 1:02.76. Katherine Kempf was 10th in the 100 IM in 1:02.56 which was the top time in the "B" final.
Grace Hilton was seventh in the 200 backstroke in 2:10.40 followed by Maggie Peats in eighth in 2:11.10 and Hailey Olsen in 10th in 2:08.93. Tarah Lang topped DePauw's 100 free swimmers by placing 12th in 52.74, while Elise Umbach was sixth in the 200 breaststroke in 2:23.08 and Emily Thompson was sixth in the 200 butterfly in 2:10.42.
DePauw's 400 free relay of Tara Holder, Maggie Perry, Lang and Sammie Waples turned in an all-conference performance by finishing third in 3:31.55.
The Tigers will compete in Kenyon's Fast Chance meet on Saturday, February 19.
