Greencastle, Ind.- The DePauw University men's soccer team had two members named to the 2022 All-NCAC men's soccer selections.
Sophomore defender
Alec McCarty earned a spot on the All-NCAC second-team selection. McCarty finished the season with one goal and was crucial to DePauw's defensive line. Starting and playing in all 18 games, he was a consistent thorn in the side of many opposing forwards the Tigers faced this year.
Joining McCarty on the All-NCAC second team is junior forward
Sam Thiel. After last year's honorable mention, Thiel continued to lead the Tigers' offense. He led DePauw in goals (8) and was tied for second in assists with three. Theil completed the season with a shot-on-goal percentage of .628 while tallying the most game-winning goals (2).
DePauw finished the season 6-7-5 overall and 1-5-2 in the NCAC.
