Greencastle, Ind. - In the final North Coast Athletic Conference match of the season, visiting Wittenberg topped DePauw, 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-19). The Tigers dropped to 9-13 overall and finished NCACÂ regular season play at 4-4. Wittenberg improved to 19-3 and won the conference regular season title with a 7-0 record.
Olivia Karwi led DePauw with eight kills, while
Avery Christy totaled 13 assists and 10 digs.
Kenzie Myers notched two aces and Laure Ridgway had two blocks.
Katie Hiestand paced Wittenberg with 13 kills, while Mack Ricketts had 33 assists. Reagan Kane paced the squad with three aces and Ava Hampton totaled 25 digs.Â
Wittenberg led in kills, 40-29, and held a .191-.157 advantage in hitting percentage.
DePauw hosts Transylvania on Saturday, Oct. 29, in an 11 a.m. match.
