Rock Island, Ill. - DePauw totaled 397 points and finished 14th among 25 schools at the Augustana Invitational. Chicago won with 54 points with Warrtburg second with 57.
Meredith Sierpina paced the Tigers in 56th place in 22:40.8 followed by
Sophie Porter in 92nd in 23:09.5 andÂ
Brynn Urban in 96th in 23:11.8. Rounding out the Tigers' top seven wereÂ
Rachel DeLancey (103rd, 23:19.1),
Amzie Maienbrooke (108th, 23:22.7),
Lily Monnett (120th, 23:36.8) and
Kendall Mann (124th, 23:40.9). Kassie Parker of Loras won in 20:00.1.
"The women are starting to really show how good they can be," DePauw head coach
Kori Stoffregen said. "Each week of training is getting better and you can see it in their racing. We are very excited for NCAC in two weeks."
The Tigers compete in the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29, in Wooster, Ohio.
