Greencastle, Ind.: The DePauw women's soccer team defeated the Franklin College Grizzlies 1-0 at Reavis Stadium in its home opener.

In the first half, the Tigers held the Grizzlies to just one shot while getting off ten shots of their own on the other end; however, Franklin's tight defense kept the game tied at zero going into halftime. 

The Tigers came out with energy at the start of the second half, resulting in four quick looks on goal within the first 10 minutes of play.

With time quickly expiring in the 77th minute Hadley Freeman slipped through the Grizzlies' defensive line to find her twin sister Whitney Freeman to put DePauw on the board!

The Tigers improved to 1-2 overall following its 1-0 victory over Franklin and will be back in Reavis Stadium this Sunday, September 12, to face Olivet College at 12 pm EDT.
